It’s important to remember that it isn’t hard finding a significant other. Anyone can get a boyfriend if they want one. The trick is finding someone you want to be with all the time. If you’re having a hard time finding someone, be sure to take the time to have a good look inside of yourself. Maybe your expectations of that “prince charming” are unrealistic. I know there is not one man who has ever loved me that thinks I’m anything like a Disney Princess even though I seriously love to nap and do actually sleep on my back. But it’s like, I had my mustache lasered off and when I get too comfortable with a person I tend to speak to them in voices that aren’t my own. No one is perfect. By no means am I saying to lower your standards but let’s be sure we are being realistic and kind about other people’s flaws.
For sure don’t stress about being single either. It’s the best. You get to do what ever you want, whenever you want, you don’t have to shave your legs on a regular basis and no one asks you if you might have a food allergy after a large meal of Indian food. Being in love is great but it’s not better than being single, just different. Toot toot, beep beep.
